How to I arrange a visit?
To arrange a school visit contact Laura Lewis at 513.751.1206. AIC offer tours Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. Students are welcome to shadow a class and talk one-on-one with teachers and students.

What is the school like?
AIC is different from your typical college. AIC uses block scheduling, so you will never have to worry what class to take next. Every class is a building block on the next. Class hours are 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (General Education classes are held one day a week from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m..)

Students are provided a work area that they are encouraged to personalize (second year students are provided a MAC workstation). They do not have to worry about changing classes or rushing to the next lecture. Our teachers rotate and all classes are designed so students don’t have to worry about stopping in the middle of a project to rush off to the next class.

What can a student expect as far as class load?
Most students find that they can complete projects within the typical day. If a student needs additional assistance AIC faculty are available until 4:00 p.m..

What about continuing to a bachelor degree?
Credits may transfer from AIC to local colleges and member International Council of Design Schools (ICDS) institutions. Transfer of credits is always at the discretion of the college and depends on the transferee’s portfolio and GPA.
